what kind of paint do you use? I am trying to use water based paints but they are not all that easy to blend as in, for example, the grey and the white on the first face...

I use Wolfe Bros Hydrocolor paints. I love them, they blend well. There are a few others I will use from time to time but I like Wolfe the best.
